AIE was established in Dubai in 1989 to service the oil, gas, power and water sectors in the Northern Emirates. We deal primarily in the supply and support of industrial scale oil and gas related equipment for exploration, refining, and distribution companies.
AIE is a part of the MEPD group of managed companies which also has strong, well established associations within the wider Middle East region.
With a solid network of offices, the company has been able to successfully promote the business interests of the many international manufacturers and contractors whom we represent.

In addition to equipment sales and support, we are also a key supplier of chemicals for oil and gas fields.
Over the last 24 years, AIE has grown into a major player in the Northern Emirates: over 20 clients, as well as representing some of the most significant companies in the industrial equipment business worldwide.
On graduating from the American University of Beirut with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 1979, Faysal joined the Construction Industry as a Senior Project Engineer. Having worked as a senior manager in the private sector for several leading international engineering companies, he joined International Development Company in 1988, and worked alongside Sulaiman Naim in developing the company into a major regional player in the oil and gas, power and water sectors, with an enviable list of premium brand international principals. Faysal is currently the Managing Director of IDC, as well as being a founding shareholder and director of Middle East Projects Development Limited.
After graduating with a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India, Ramesh joined Xomox India Limited responsible for marketing and sales, and thereafter worked for MIL Industries as Deputy Marketing Manager. Having established his leadership and management credentials, Ramesh joined Arab Industrial Equipment (AIE) in 1992, and currently serves as Sales Director.
